Comment posted on Genetically Modified Foods – Are They Worth the Risk? by Bev Langford

Hi Wal,
Great article! I watched the videos and I’m at a loss – Has the world gone mad? I just can’t see the point of genetically modifying pigs to make them florescent green, for artistic use, give me a break!! I am food conscious and try to buy foods that are non modified, but today, when shopping in the supermarket – who knows?? We could be buying anything! It’s time that people were made aware of the genetically modified foods, the foods should all be identifiable by way of a sticker to inform shoppers to give them a choice when buying the weekly groceries.

  • The Secret Of Healing The Shadow Self And Tapping Into The Riches Of The Dark Side
Really interesting article Wal. We all know there are dark recesses in our mind, negative thoughts and a person we hide from the world. I think the risk of hiding and repressing the shadow self is that it will try to surface creating a constant battle between the self that we want to present to the world and the shadow self.
    Food for thought!! :)
  • Building Better Spiritual Relationships Chakra to Chakra
Thank you Wal for this interesting article. You have got me thinking, there are so many ways to connect with the spiritual self and other spiritual beings. Here you have explained how to do this through relationship chords and chakra communication. I’m sure that we all have the ability to do this but have not had access to a way of learning this. Thanks again for providing another thought proving article. :)
  • All People Have Chakras, Yes? No!
    Thanks Wal
I have definitely learned something, I though everyone had chakras and also meridians and orak fields (not sure of the spelling on the last one).
I learned a little bit about the energy forces that surround us about 15 years ago. Fascinating topic, thanks for sharing this information.

You speak out very passionately against genetically modified foods – and rightly so. The dangers are real, yet governments drag their feet in doing anything about it. Individually we can make a difference by choosing to buy non GM foods and educate our children to do the same. Thanks for raising this issue.

Yes, Jan, not only are the governments not doing anything about the genetically modified foods problem, but it seems as if in many cases they are colluding with the biotech companies, and individual ministers and high ranking officials are getting kickbacks. Some government officials are even past-employees of the biotech firms! This is what you can do when you have a spare $10 billion or so lying around to “market” the product to carefully targeted high powered individuals. Do you wonder if this is what has happened in India who are getting ready to damage their agricultural industry with the release of 40 new, home grown, genetically modified foods? Wal

I know from experience as a young boy my father established a market garden in south Australia using hot houses the first crop we planted was a bread of tomato’s and corn the seed came from Italian migrant farmers that brought the seed with them from Europe after the WW2 , both crops grew well and the taste was something I have not experienced for many years ..Why? because the original seed has been replaced with GM seed that guarantees fruit with perfect uniform shape, because it was found by marketers that people bought with their eye’s it made sense if you produce fruit that looks good you’ll win the market even though the new GM varieties were flavorless . Another important factor was you couldn’t dry out the new hybrid seed for replanting and therefore the big seed companies created a monopoly over the seed , we had to buy from them – perfect ? Although there is a seed company in Australia that collects original seed and has built up a large stock I believe of the original plant varieties ,not only is it GM free but you can grow next years crop from the seed of this years , thank god someones thinking ahead

That’s a wonderful story, Tony. I wonder if the seed company you are thinking of is Eden Seeds in Lower Beechmont, Queensland?

Yes, an even greater post is calling for me to write it. Latest research. Scientists finding that third generation lab rats are growing hair inside their mouths from eating GM soy.

Unfortunately, it is too late. The genie has left the bottle. The majority don’t get the message until people start dropping dead from an identifiable cause. This could be decades away. By then there could be untold damage.
